just don't know

this image was perfectly exposed. but I worked it thisaway and thataway and I wondered if I was adding too much contrast or too little or if I should just do a bit of burning on the shadow and does it show the tangle of greenery on the hoop enough because I think that's what this is about but maybe it's actually about the fence shadow and I could just burn that in but then maybe it doesn't look natural and hell I should just post it exactly as scanned because I'm sure people would comment on the tones but is that really me is that really what this picture is about...?

I fucking hate it when I'm like this. indecisive and insecure about my intuition. I don't know if this image will stay here like this or if I'll replace it later with a different interpretation.

I just don't know.
